Personnel general schedules: employee personnel files.

Employee personnel files contain the employment and performance records for the employees of a department. A department's personnel files may contain, but are not limited to, copies of all forms and records required by the State Personnel Department to document any change of status of an employee (promotion, demotion, dismissal, etc.). Records or forms which document personnel actions that do not reflect a change in status (minutes or notes of counseling sessions, letters of commendations, etc.) may or may not appear in the copy of record maintained by the State Personnel Department.
